The Ukrainian qualifier for the fifth season of the Intel Extreme Masters has reached its very end, with ARENA qualifying directly to the European Championship together with the defending World Champions from Natus Vincere.

The qualifier final was concluded yesterday, and saw ARENA take on KerchNET, in a match to determine who would join Natus Vincere directly for the European Championship.

KerchNET started out by overcoming ARENA on de_inferno, winning with a 16-3 scoreline. On the second map, de_dust2, and third map, de_nuke, ARENA secured two 16-12 victories to win 2-1 overall, and qualify for the European Championship.

The third-place decider took place tonight, where GetHard clashed with Maverick. GetHard managed the victory and claimed access to the first qualification round, while Maverick will have to try their luck again next season.

The first Ukrainian team in action will be GetHard, who will learn their faith for Qualification Round 1 on Monday next week.
